But this is not true! The circular economy is about: reusability, reparability, recycling, sustainability, climate protection, resources, material cycles, product design, innovation and durability.

In the PLAYBOOK – Basic Sustainability and Circular Economy Online Training – Module 1  you will learn all about the basics of the circular economy, how it is defined and what drives it. You will also get to know the most important principles of the circular economy and thus gain a basic knowledge of the topic.

This online training is based on the circular economy PLAYBOOK by our partner Thinking Circular®, a consultancy and think tank, situated in Germany and founded by Eveline Lemke. Course Introduction

Developing young leaders and middle managers is one of the most crucial investments for long-term business success for global players, especially smaller and mid-sized companies which mainly rely on talent raised from within.

Individuals who stood out for having made significant contributions and showing leadership in projects or initiatives are promoted to team leadership to become multiplicators, facilitate team work and foster performance. However, leadership skills need practice, reflection and state-of-the-art thinking to develop the leader’s potential in an optimal way.

The “Leadership Basics Program” creates a 3-months learning community and provides structured input, practice opportunities and space for reflection to grow over the course of the program and apply the new knowledge as the journey develops.

Target audience

Individuals who have recently (typically within the last 1-2 years) started a leadership role or have been leading for some time but never attended a structured leadership training – particularly those who work in Chinese/German business environments.

Sonja Hilbig is a founding partner at CD Consulting and has 20 years of experience in people development, consulting and industrial management.

As a former Director of Product Management & Smart Factory Solutions at TRUMPF (China) Co. Ltd. and Senior Associate at McKinsey&Company (Hamburg), she has an in-depth understanding of the needs of young leaders in a Chinese-German business environment and now focuses on supporting individuals and leadership teams to reach their full potential.

Sonja holds an MBA from China Europe International Business School (CEIBS), as well as a Master’s degree in Mathematics from Chemnitz University of Technology and is fluent in German, English and Mandarin
